Sometimes it's difficult to combine thrifty with thoughtful. This Christmas the kids and I made a lot of our presents. And I think these turned out very sweet. (We made ornament sets with all of "the cousins" pictures and wooden carolers.)
I was able to avoid toilet paper rolls and egg crates- yet keep them simple enough for even our three year old to make.
